eLEARNING

Adept at creating interactive and engaging self-paced courses, including scenario-based interactions, simulations and soft skills training. Courses I have developed have proven to be extremely effective and have been well received by clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership teams. This positive feedback has led to more complex and sophisticated projects.

Be it in person or virtually, having a live instructor-led learning experience can create opportunities for discussion, questions, and feedback loops that are undeniably powerful. I have created instructor-led training experiences, which have enabled trainers to deliver content in the most impactful ways.

Video-based learning tutorials and modules are able to transform static content into media-rich interactive learning experiences. I have revolutionized learning videos with embedded instructional activities that have brought processes and static information to life.

eLearning Samples

eLearning courses need to be memorable, engaging and relatable. While conducting a thorough needs analysis, I strive to better understand project scope, uncover what success looks like, and identify stakeholders’ ultimate goals and objectives. I then dive into the design and development phases. This is an iterative process consisting of storyboarding in the authoring tool, validating content and requesting feedback at multiple intervals.

90-Day Manager Onboarding Program: The 90-day onboarding program was designed to offer role-specific content in a blended delivery model, providing some peer-to-peer interaction in the early stages. Further on in the process, learners were guided to access content online. The content was initially rolled out to existing managers and directors as part of a pilot program, then implemented companywide as a requirement to all new managers. The results far exceeded past processes and expectations, showing significant increase in client and employee retention and satisfaction.

Business Development Onboarding

I worked closely with the VP of Business Development to develop a curriculum aligned with the company’s sales methodology. The curriculum consisted of several presentation-based videos, recorded and produced in-house, using Camtasia screen recording and a Zoom H4N microphone, as well as scenario-based simulation to support the learning content.

Responsibilities: Instructional design, video shoot planning, eLearning development, graphical elements, video production, audio editing

Target Audience: Business development team

Tools Used: Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Audacity, Photoshop, PowerPoint, SnagIt

Software Training

Be it short video tutorials for just-in-time learning or full-fledged online modules, my experience extends to creating effective and impactful software training.

The screens below are samples from an online course for a module from a proprietary software. The approach taken was to first provide a business context. The lesson objectives are then listed as tasks learners would need to perform in the software. Some of the most pertinent tasks include step-by-step screencasts demonstrating how they are executed in the software. Lastly, learners are asked to complete tasks through guided simulations.

Classroom and Virtual Instructor-Led

The power of presence gives learners an opportunity to be heard in real time and enables organizations to truly personalize instruction. Be it in person or in a virtual training tool, having a live instructor-led learning experience can create opportunities for discussion, questions, and feedback loops that are undeniably powerful. My strength and expertise is to develop branded content, enabling trainers to deliver content in the most impactful way, in the classroom and in a virtual training tool like Zoom, Adobe Connect or GoToTraining.

Video-Based Learning

Video-based learning tutorials and modules transform static content into media-rich interactive learning experiences. I have revolutionized learning videos with embedded instructional activities that bring documents and presentations to life on any device. Videos creatively illustrate a company’s mission, products, and services to engage prospects, customers, and employees in ways they’ll never forget.

Additional videos produced may only be shared in person as they contain proprietary information or feature company associates.
